What tools does Aleksey Nazarov recommend for effective flat water fishing during storms?

The available content does not list specific tools or gear recommendations for flat water fishing during storms. One post just mentions: “Keeping my fingers crossed for a storm. #flat,” and another: “Caught one of everything. #fishing #columbia,” without detailing tackle, lures, or setups.

I do not want to guess here, since proper storm-fishing advice is also a safety topic.

Are you asking about lure/tackle choice, rods and reels, or more about safety and when not to go out at all?
