I don’t have a single “definitive guide” written out for my photography yet, but I can walk you through the core of how I shoot, based on what you see on my page:

  1. Light first, pose second: I always find good natural light (windows, golden hour, or open shade), then move myself or the subject to where the light shapes the face and body best.
  2. Simple backgrounds so the subject pops.
  3. I shoot a lot, then pick the top few that really tell a story or show emotion.
  4. Edit lightly: keep skin tones natural, add contrast, and don’t overdo filters.

If I put together a full guide, what would you want most: camera settings, posing, or editing?
