Based on what I’ve shared on Instagram, here are the most impactful audience engagement strategies I use:
- Intentional Stories: I post 1–3 stories a day (up to 5–7 max) about real life, behind the scenes, dad life, tips, and day-in-the-life so people feel connected, not sold to.
- Connection first: My first story always aims to connect personally before I “teach” or “sell.”
- Story resets: I let my stories fully expire once a week, wait 24 hours, then start again – this consistently bumps my views.
- Algorithm-aware content: I lean into what the algorithm rewards: replies, DMs, likes, and repeat views by using hooks, questions, and clear CTAs like “READY,” “IMPACT,” and “REEL” to start conversations.
- Value-led offers: I give away free frameworks, hooks, and ebooks to turn viewers into active, loyal followers.
