Hi, I’m Meredith Masony from That’s Inappropriate.

Traditional parenting often focuses on:

  1. Obedience and “because I said so”
  2. Kids excelling in things like sports, grades, and achievements

My approach leans more toward:

  1. Connection and realistic expectations over perfection
  2. Letting kids be human, messy, emotional, and still totally lovable
  3. Coaching thoughts, emotions, and behavior (not just skills), like I share when talking about things such as Tapouts and mental coaching
  4. Using humor to normalize how hard parenting really is

What part of parenting are you most curious about—discipline, mental health, mom guilt, or something else?
