I'm Brian D. Smith—grief guide, life coach, certified grief educator, and host of the Grief 2 Growth podcast. My daughter Shayna passed away suddenly at 15 in 2015. That loss inspired me to do this work. I approach grief and afterlife evidence with an engineer's mind and a father's heart. I've interviewed hundreds of mediums, NDE experiencers, and consciousness researchers. I serve on the boards of Helping Parents Heal and IANDS. As a certified grief educator, I combine evidence-based research with lived experience to help others navigate loss. My philosophy is simple: We're spiritual beings having human experiences. Death is a transition, not an ending. Love never dies. "Died" is the lie—it implies cessation. You cannot cease to be. Dying means leaving the old car behind while consciousness continues.
