Based on the available content, there are not hard “clinical trial” statistics in what is shared about ancestral healing with me and my guests. The support is more indirect but meaningful:

  1. Epigenetics research shows trauma can be biologically inherited (for example, elevated stress responses in descendants of Holocaust survivors).
  2. This suggests that healing work around inherited trauma can, in principle, shift those patterns over time.

Most of what is discussed in my work and with practitioners like Bernadette Thompson is qualitative: client stories of depression lifting, relationship patterns changing, and grief easing, sometimes very quickly after ancestral work. That is powerful, but it is not the same as controlled outcome data.

Are you looking for scientific studies to evaluate whether to try ancestral healing yourself, or are you more interested in how to apply it in your own grief journey?
