Brian’s entire body of work is rooted in his personal story.

When his 15‑year‑old daughter Shayna passed suddenly, life as he knew it shattered. As an engineer and entrepreneur, he turned his analytical mind toward one burning question: Does consciousness survive physical death? That search led to deep research into afterlife evidence, near‑death experiences, and mediumship, and to interviewing hundreds of experts and experiencers.

Out of that pain and inquiry came purpose. Brian became a certified grief educator, coach, author, and host of the Grief 2 Growth podcast. His work blends lived experience, spiritual evidence, and practical tools (like his GEMS framework: Gratitude, Exercise/Sleep, Mindfulness, Self‑Care) to help others not just survive loss, but grow through it.

What part of his journey are you most curious about—his research, his spiritual perspective, or his practical tools for coping?
